Topic: OSHA Walking & Working Surfaces Update
Details: For years, general industry employers have sought to prevent slips, trips and fall in their workplaces. Unfortunately, Subpart D, “Walking-Working Surfaces,” has provided little in the way of clear, concise requirements. This is about to change, however, with the finalization of a new rule that will take major steps in overhauling the existing standard and impact an estimated 6.7 million employers. The most significant changes cover new requirements for a variety of walking-working surfaces. This includes floors, aisles, stairs, ladders, platforms, roofs, etc. This webcast will discuss these changes in contrast to current requirements to help employers understand the totality of the requirements and the impact on their workplace.
